What happens if a venue just refuses
At zero revenue, we have no leverage over a venue that quietly refuses at the counter. So we substitute a very small, very cheap mechanic instead: two hours after your meet ends, we push you one question — 'Did the venue apply your discount?' — Yes or No.
The three answers
If a redemption was recorded, we ask 'Did they apply it?' — Yes or No.
If no redemption was recorded, we ask 'Did you use the GoWith offer at this venue?' — Yes / They wouldn't apply it / We didn't ask.
'We didn't ask' never counts against the venue. That distinction matters — if the booker chose not to bring it up, the venue's honour rate stays clean.
The thresholds
Each 'No' or 'They wouldn't apply it' increments a rolling 30-day counter on the venue. Three of those, and the venue is flagged for a human at GoWith to review. Five, and every offer at the venue auto-pauses and the venue is hidden from the booking flow until a person looks at what's going on.
“One notification, one in-app card that dismisses. Compliance rate will be about 30% — enough to spot a venue refusing systematically.”
What this isn't
It isn't a review system. Bookers aren't rating the coffee or the ambience. They're answering one commercial question — did the promise on the offer card become the discount on the bill.
Why we never nag
One prompt per meet. If the booker ignores it, they're not asked again. Nagging destroys signal quality — a booker who dismisses an insistent card three days after the meet is not answering the same question they were two hours later.
