The framing on the companion side is different
Bookers see 'Blue Tokai — 15% off if you book here'. Companions see the same venue with a different label: 'Blue Tokai — welcomes GoWith meets · public and staffed'. The offer isn't the point on that side. The public, staffed, well-lit part is.
Favouriting a venue
A companion can favourite any partner venue. Once a companion has completed three meets at the same venue, that venue surfaces on her profile as 'usually meets at Blue Tokai, Bandra W' — visible to bookers when they browse.
That is a safety signal for the booker too. A companion who has met three GoWith bookings in a row at the same cafe has done more due diligence on the room than you can do in a week of Googling.

What Places doesn't let companions do
Companions cannot receive money from a venue. Ever. That would be a material connection under ASCI's influencer guidelines and would put the whole programme into an advertising category we're deliberately not in. If a venue pays a companion anything for anything, that companion is delisted from the partner surface.
Meet-there vs meet-anywhere
Companions can still take bookings that meet somewhere non-partner. Places is an option, not a requirement. But we expect companions who care about the safety layer will start requiring their bookers to pick from partner venues — and that's fine. That's the flywheel.
