Places

GoWith Places, in one paragraph — and what took so long to say out loud.

Why we're turning 'where should we meet' from a chat problem into a booking step, and what it changes for the venue on the other end of the pin.

A quiet corner in a well-lit cafe

GoWith is a booking system for spending time with a verified companion — coffee, dinner, a walk, a plus-one for an event. That time happens somewhere. Until this week, that somewhere was decided over chat between the booker and the companion, usually five minutes before the meet, usually badly.

GoWith Places moves the venue into the booking flow. When you book, you pick where. If the venue is a partner, an offer attaches to the meet automatically — 15% off the bill, a free cold brew, a reserved table — and unlocks when both of you check in on-site.

Three reasons this exists

For the companion, a partner venue is a public, staffed, well-lit place that expects a GoWith meet. That is a safety feature wearing a convenience costume. It is the main reason we built this before almost anything else.

For the booker, deciding where to meet a stranger is the most awkward part of the booking. A short list of vetted places with a discount attached removes the negotiation before it starts.

For the venue, we bring two people, two hours, who are booked to sit and talk. No aggregator commission, no ad spend. Their only cost is the discount they chose to give — and they see exactly how many of our meets happened at their door.

What it isn't

It isn't a coupon platform. It isn't a discovery app for restaurants. It isn't advertising inventory dressed up in product language. It is a way of paying venues in footfall for making our meets safer to arrange and easier to verify.

An offer exists only because a meet was booked at that venue. It is not a coupon. It is a thank-you for footfall we sent.

The catch — stated honestly

Listing is free while we're building traffic in a neighbourhood. Once a neighbourhood crosses a meaningful monthly volume of meets, new partners start paying for placement. Brands who join during the free period keep free listing permanently, and that is written into the ₹0 agreement, not the pitch.

We just started. If you're reading this because a founder pushed it into your hands at a counter, thank you — you're the reason this gets to be honest for as long as it stays honest.

What's next

We're onboarding the first cluster of cafes in Bandra West, Koramangala and Indiranagar. If you run a venue and want to be one of them, sign up at gowith.now/venue — under ten minutes, no sales call, no card.
